When we're feeling tired, stressed, and overwhelmed, we tend to numb out with activities like alcohol, vaping, overeating, and phone scrolling.

Numbing out gives us temporary relief by disconnecting us from our difficult thoughts and feelings.

But numbing out doesn't actually heal the pain generating those uncomfortable thoughts and feelings. It's more like hitting the snooze button on our healing.

When we're done numbing out, we usually end up with a hangover of one type or another.

The next time you're feeling run down, don't numb out - create a Love Bath instead!

The Love Bath is a beautiful way to create quality time with yourself.

It's your chance to unwind in a setting that's perfectly tailored to your relaxation and enjoyment.

Think of it as a spa treatment for your heart and soul.

In the Love Bath, we shift from numbing out to cultivating connection. We allow ourselves to truly unwind by creating a space of pampered enjoyment. That way, we both relax in the moment, and we create a sense of safety and comfort that allows our inner pain to gradually heal itself. We emerge feeling refreshed, recharged, and reconnected with our true self.

How you create your love bath is entirely up to you.

The only two rules: (1) stay in one location the whole time (2) no phones, tablets, or other screens.

Within those two rules - go nuts!

Surprise yourself with your all-outness and attention to detail.

Create a space where you feel comfortable and cared for, where you can relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the moment.

In this video, I show you my love bath.

I then share some guidance on how to create the perfect love bath for you.

I encourage you - take some time today to plan the love bath of your dreams!

Create a personalized spa for your heart and soul.

Create a safe, soothing, welcoming space where you can relax, unwind, and simply enjoy the moment.

Then treat yourself to a lovely experience of healing, connection, gladness, and peace.

Yes, you have hit the nail on the head, with using those distractions.

I get in the bath literally, that is where I turn off.

Thank you for the reminder, to be kind to oneself, in this over-busy life.
