Poetry Exchange: Words & Wonders

Public·

*Lost and Turned Out*

In a world so cold,

Searching for a way out,

But finding no stronghold.

Caught in a web of deceit,

Trapped by the lies,

Struggling to find my feet,

As the darkness slowly rises.

Lost in the shadows,

Of my own making,

Feeling like a lost sparrow,

With no one for the taking.

But I refuse to give in,

To the darkness that surrounds,

I'll fight until I win,

And break free from these bounds.

So hear my plea,

I won't be lost forever,

I'll find my way, you'll see,

And rise from the ashes, stronger than ever.
